Debating against Glenunga International High School in Week 2, Mia Hodge, Molly Hynes and Daria Di Giacomo did a sterling job as they demonstrated their debating skills through their ability to speak confidently, think clearly and spontaneously when rebutting, and providing a succinct persuasive speech in an assertive and poised manner.
Even though the adjudicator nominated the opposing team as winners (but only by a whisker - Kildare 91.33 and Glenunga 92), Mia Hodge received best overall debater.
A great way to kick start the debating season for 2019.
