This week two Justice and Democracy students were able to attend the Caritas Just Leadership Day in Adelaide.
The students worked together during a game of “unfair monopoly” where they learnt about social inequality and brainstormed in their groups’ about ways to sustainably assist underprivileged communities.
In the lunch break students stumbled upon the School Strike for Climate Change, watching on as other passionate high schoolers rally around their cause. After lunch a workshop provided the chance to develop some ideas around what the Justice and Democracy group can do to create an awareness within the College of the social structures that we live within.
