During this term many of our students have been involved in Transition Visits to our partner Primary Schools. You may remember your daughter receiving a visit from a Kildare staff member and two students when she was in primary school. The purpose of these visits is for students currently in Year 6 and Year 7 to meet some of our wonderful Kildare College ambassadors.

We received many compliments about how warm and welcoming our students are and that they could answer any questions the younger students asked. In addition to this we had some students visit Kildare. This was organised for girls who are the only ones coming to Kildare from their school. They met other students who will be in their year level and had a tour of the College.

On Tuesday 11 June the Year 9 students headed to Latitude as part of their Girls Achieve Program. The students embraced the physical and mental challenges provided at Latitude. It is so important that young women have the opportunity to push the boundaries in a safe and well supervised environment. They relished the rock climbing, jumping off very high platforms, bouncing, somersaulting and falling into the foam pit. The Latitude staff commented on the students’ engagement and mature approach throughout their session. We returned to school tired but happy at the end of the day.
