Walk the Walk
A Kildare College Student Leadership Team Initiative
The Student Leadership Team, are passionate about supporting our community and making meaningful change.
In 2023, they are supporting the Childhood Cancer Association, coordinating a fundraiser titled “Walk the Walk”.
On Friday 12 May, the Student Leadership Team will be walking 23 kilometres in solidarity for those diagnosed with cancer, to raise much-needed funds for this not-for-profit organisation. 23kms was chosen as they are the graduating class of 2023, and 2023 is primed to be a great year.
As the Student Leaders of Kildare College, their vision is to build a community where everyone is valued and where hope, justice and courage are their hallmarks. These values have become embedded in their everyday lives during their time at Kildare College, and 'participating in this fundraiser allows us to live out our College’s Core Values'.
They hope to give back to those who show great courage and strength to cope with a cancer diagnosis. They also hope to inspire you to create change for a cause you are passionate about.
