This week across the College students have been involved in many different Visual Art activities, centred around the Japanese Artist, Yayoi Kusama.
Today, our College celebrated Cultural Awareness Day.
As part of their learning through Activate, an entrepreneurial learning program facilitated in partnership with Future Anything in Year 9 PBL, all students were involved in the inaugural Enterprise Display.
Planet Ark's National Tree Day started in 1996 is now Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event. Our Environmental Group contributed to the initiative and planted trees around the perimeter of our oval, adding to the 26 million trees planted around the world.
Old Scholars, Lacie Roberts (Class of 2016) and Jadey Roberts (Class of 2018) featured in the Advertiser recently! Both were heavily involved in Dance at Kildare, with their passion and talent influencing their careers and experience of performing around the world. In 2021, Lacie and Jadey opened LJR Dance Academy.

Year 12 students Amber, Hima and Nazia, participated in the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) titration competition to determine the concentration of an unknown acid. Their great results have earned them a spot in State Final at UniSA. Congratulations and good luck with the finals!
Who do you say I am? Our Year 12 Retreat was a wonderful opportunity for our Year 12 students to gather at such a significant time of the year; to reconnect, find support in each other, and ultimately reflect on the people they have grown to become, and where God is in their life.
Before the Covid pandemic, over 130,000 people in South Australia were living below the poverty line. Unfortunately, with job losses, increasing inflation and health impacts, this figure has been rising. Many South Australians are choosing between shelter and food, and charities who offer support services are struggling to meet the increase in demand.

Congratulations to Mia (Year 11) for being accepted into the Class of Cabaret Program! Mia has been able to further develop performance skills through masterclasses and workshops with professional artists, culminating in a performance at Adelaide Cabaret Festival events, even gaining SACE credits along the way.
