Our 2023 student leaders gathered early in December to unpack what it means to be a leader and begin to develop a vision for 2023. Topics included women in leadership, the challenges of being a leader and the opportunity to reflect on themselves as a leader.
Well done to Year 7 student Aizure for her achievements in Touch Football this year.
Aizure was selected for the State U12's Touch Football Team and travelled to Wagga Wagga to compete. Through many hurdles, including the floods - the outcome of the experience was positive, winning the final game against Victoria.
Aizure, being captain of her team is proud to have had the opportunity to play Touch Football and make new connections along the way.
We are excited that Kildare was named in the Adelaide Advertiser on Tuesday 29 November, as one of the Top 10, Years 7-12 Private Secondary Schools in terms of NAPLAN scores.
Kildare College is exceptionally proud of the Class of 2022 and their SACE results. We congratulate them on their outstanding individual and collective successes achieved this year.
Well done to Fiona, Lilley, Caitlin and Zoe on their participation in the Oliphant Science Awards this year.
Zoe and Caitlin were awarded first and second prize respectively for their photographic entries, using creative photography to communicate specific Science content that was clear, accurate and original. Zoe also was awarded the Rowe Scientific Emerging Talent Prize for photography.

During the last week of school, our College community put their creative skills to the test and created their Christmas Doors!
This fun tradition has been enjoyed for many years. Working together, each PC Class creates their own Christmas Door to fit the Christmas Theme of their House, ready for our judges to score them on originality, recycling, 'wow' and of course...Christmas!
Our Years 7, 8 and 9 students enjoyed Activities Week for their final week of school for 2022. Year 7 students got active playing sport, Year 8 students made a splash at Waterworld and our Year 9 students ventured to Woodhouse Activity Centre.
We are so grateful to our students, families and staff who donated items to the Australian Refugee Association Gift Drive and Vinnies' Christmas Appeal. Many items including new toys, games, stationery, books, and non-perishables were donated for refugee families and vulnerable people in our community.
After training with the State Academy and Norwood Bears for 2 years Jorgia was selected for the South Australian Under 17 Women's Championship Volleyball team.
The team travelled to Bendigo to compete in the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships and came second overall! A wonderful achievement. Jorgia began her volleyball journey after the South Australian Sports Institute came to Kildare College and ignited her journey.

The House Cup is annually presented to celebrate students' contribution to, Living Justice Living Peace, Sport, and Academic achievements in each House.
