From The Senior Years

Term 3 has been busy for our senior students. Each week there are a number of activities that the students are involved in. Recently they have participated in the intercol against St Paul’s, visited the Central Markets for Food and Hospitality, had Year 1 students visit for Child Studies, visit the numerous Religious moments throughout the city for Year 10 Religion, display their talents in music and dancing and listen to a presentation from Encounter Youth on being Alert but not Alarmed.

Our Year 12 students are starting to finalise all their assignments for the year. To help celebrate their end of study and final year at Kildare College, the Year 12 students take part in a range of activities to mark the occasion.

Graduation Mass – Tuesday 22 October starting at 7pm
Presentation Day – Friday 25 October
Final Assembly – Friday 25 October, Lesson 1 and 2
Brunch – Friday 25 October Lesson 3 and 4 (Year 12 students only)
Graduation Dinner – Thursday 28 November 6.30pm for 7.00pm start

The final day of formal College activities for Year 12 students is Friday 25 October. It is vital that all students attend every class and other activities up to and including this day. Subject teachers are presenting important information and advice regarding examination procedures, revision and the final moderation process. Students may be required to come in after this day to complete summative tasks. Their subject teachers will inform them if they are required to do this. Students must wear their uniform when attending the College after this date.

We look forward celebrating the end of you daughter’s education at Kildare College.
