Recently, students from Year 7 – Year 10 attended the Zero Bully presentation. This presentation reinforced everyone’s responsibility when bullying occurs, as well as providing strategies to use if someone is being a bully. Students were encouraged to be UP-STANDERS instead of bystanders.
Many parents attended an information session in the evening and were alarmed at the number of games and apps that are unsuitable for children. A key message of the evening session was that young people should not have their devices in their bedrooms overnight and that they should be in a communal area of the home whenever the devices are being used.
