The Year 8 STEM classes have been involved in designing and testing 'life hacks'. They have had great fun researching the life hacks, and designing ways to test if they actually work.
Life hacks tested include:
Can you make a bouncy ball from eggs?
If you don't have a toaster, can you iron sandwiches to toast them?
What is the best material to cover a drink in, in order to cool it the fastest?
Can you pour three drinks at once?
There has been lots of laughter and fun coming from the Makerspace area. From their initial research to designing and completing the experiments, there has been lots of learning, laughter and fun.
