Year 7 STEM students learnt to light a Bunsen Burner for the first time. After completing the practical activity safely and successfully, students received their Bunsen Burner Licence.
This license indicates that students can correctly label the parts of a Bunsen Burner, set up and light one safely and adjust and identify the difference between and when to use the yellow (safety) flame and the blue (hot) flame.
