Year 10 student Abby has been working on a Shoebox of Love project this Semester in
Stage 1 Modified Mathematics. She researched items suitable for a Christmas gift for an underprivileged girl around 9 years of age and carefully managed her budget of $30.00.
Abby planned and attended an excursion to Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, where she and a friend shopped for the gifts. She placed the ‘shoebox’, which was actually a Unicorn Bag of Love, under the Christmas Tree in the Resource Centre to contribute to Vinnies Christmas Appeal.
