The Year 7 cohort attended Monarto Safari Park to enrich their in class learnings around classification of animals in STEM and Civics and Citizenship in HUMS.
The students experienced a bus tour of the many enclosures led by Stef our guide. She explained the conservation goals of zoos, shared interesting facts, described unique features of animals and asked and answered many questions.
Students also had time to cool down with an ice block and explore the other exhibits, including the Chimpanzees.
