Kildare had 25 Year 8 students participate in The Big Ideas Challenge held by Future Anything at Mercedes College.
It was a wonderful day where our students worked with other schools to create innovative STEM solutions to current real-world problems.
Five of our students collaborated to develop the idea to help find rubbish bins and reduce pollution with an app. This was the overall winning innovative STEM solution for the day, with the five students representing Kildare College and receiving a prize to kick-start their future as entrepreneurs.
