In Year 9 Art we were to create a 3D artwork using one-point perspective with our names as the focus. I sketched some thumbnails of possible designs, deciding on a circular pattern with the perspective and vanishing point being in the centre. I sketched my name and decided to put the “T” of my name in the centre of the piece. I used a black pen for out-lining and coloured with a pink and cyan pencil.
The four drawings in my artwork represent aspects of my personality. The paper represents my love for writing. I can’t make it a day without caffeine, which is the coffee mug. I drew my phone as I check out references for when I draw. I listen to music a lot which refers to the headphones.
I used a new technique where I can use the lead of a pencil and smudge it around to create a gradient.
