Our Scholarships recognise potential and reward achievement

Kildare College is committed to offering an outstanding education for girls.

We inspire and encourage our students through a range of scholarships offered to students entering Year 7.

The St Brigid Performing Arts Scholarship

Applications Now Open for Year 7 2025

The St Brigid Performing Arts Scholarship, provides 50 - 100% remission of tuition fees for students enrolling in Year 7, for the entirety of their secondary education at Kildare College. Scholarship continuation is reviewed annually.  

Applications close on Wednesday 24 July 2024.

The Brigidine Education Relief Fund Bursary

Applications Now Open for Year 7 2025

Eligibility

The Bursary will be considered on the recommendation of the Principal to the Kildare Education Ministries Board based on the following:

  • Evidence of low family income supported by the existence of a health care card or other social security entitlements.
  • The existence of low family income but marginally above health care card or social security recipient levels.
  • Refugee or immigrant families.
  • Students independently supporting themselves.
  • Family hardship caused through disabilities existing within the household.
  • Families experiencing temporary hardship.
  • People experiencing family breakdown with consequent loss of income or relocation expenses.

What will be subsidised?

  • In keeping with current practice, individual schools will continue to provide fee relief as negotiated with individual families.
  • The Bursary will subsidise (up to the total value of $1500) the uniform and/or part of the Tuition and Resource Fee.

Indigenous Scholarship

Applications Now Open for Year 7 2025

A Scholarship is awarded on all the following criteria:

  • Students entering Year 7 2024.
  • On the understanding that the recipient is Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Will complete her secondary education at Kildare College.

Applications for the 2025 Indigenous Scholarship will close Wednesday 24 July 2024.

The Delany Academic Scholarship

Applications Closed for Year 7 2025

The Delany Academic Scholarship offers a 50%-100% fee remission based on academic excellence as the result of the ACER Scholarship test. The scholarship is tenable for six years and is reviewed on a yearly basis based on academic performance.
