The appointment of our Child Safeguarding Officers is an example of the College’s application of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (National Principles), specifically Principles 1 (Committed Leadership, Governance and Culture) and 6 (Effective Complaints Management).
Appointing Child Safeguarding Officers assists the College to ensure that child safety is championed and modelled at all levels of the College and helps members of the College community know who they can approach to disclose and discuss harm or risk of harm to a child or young person or to seek support and advice.
Our Child Safeguarding Officers are able to advise and assist you in most situations involving child safety incidents or concerns.
They can also answer any questions that you may have with respect to our Child Safeguarding Policy, and the Child Safeguarding Program more generally.
