There are THREE things that you are always in control over:
- your attitude
- your choices
- and your effort

Kildare College provides new opportunities, new friendships and new learning experiences. With a positive attitude and a desire to explore everything that Kildare has to offer, the College can provide your daughters with a journey full of many wonderful moments.
Finding your place in secondary school can also sometimes be fraught with needing to make tough choices to avoid a ‘drama cyclone’. At times, it can be difficult for students to not gossip, but each time there is gossiping about someone either online or in-person a whirlwind of emotions can commence, and the cyclone takes off. When students get caught in one of these cyclones there are truly no winners. Mean-spirited gossip can turn into bullying very quickly. The cyclone takes on a life of its own and can be very difficult to stop.
Students do want less drama as they have so many things to juggle at any one time. Hence, it is so important that as a learning community, we do work together to help guide our students with the decisions that they make every day. Together, we do need to help our students make good choices whilst engaging in meaningful friendships.
On Thursday 14 March 2019, starting at 6.30pm at Kildare, Joy Anasta, Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Counsellor, Educator, Mediator and Parent Coach, will speak about how to guide your daughter into becoming a confident, resilient and independent student. If you are interested in attending this parent seminar, please reserve your free tickets using the following trybookings link - https://www.trybooking.com/BBBTA
Finally, at Kildare, we are always looking for opportunities to inspire and challenge our students so that they can enjoy many different experiences. Navigating the teenage years can be a positive experience when good choices are made. In our community, we hope that by working together with our students, we will enable them to learn, grow and develop into confident and successful young adults.
