Kildare in the Community

Kildare students are active members of the wider community. We offer a number of programs and opportunities for students to make a meaningful contribution.

Generations of Service

Kildare College students researched, published and launched Generations of Service, a book exploring the stories of generations of Indigenous families who have served in the Australian Armed Forces. The book and the students involved were featured in a story on Behind the News. Please contact us for more information or to obtain your copy of the book. Lighthouse Disability (formerly Leveda)

Kildare College has a partnership with Lighthouse Disability, an organisation that provides disability support for high needs people with a disability across Adelaide. Kildare students have created art murals to be placed at community houses and act as volunteers at Lighthouse discos. This partnership has been recognised with a number of community service awards.

Justice and Democracy

The Kildare College Justice and Democracy group continually seek out opportunities to raise awareness and support for important issues in our local and global community. The group leads many fundraising initiatives throughout the year to enable the entire Kildare community to contribute in a meaningful way.
