Student Leaders are role models who seek to support and give a voice to the student body whose common purpose is to create a learning environment by upholding and promoting the Kildare Ministry values of Wonder, Justice, Courage, Hospitality, Hope, Compassion and Justice.
The 2019 student leadership process has commenced with College Captain positions finalised at the conclusion of Term 3. The House, Justice & Democracy, Arts, Sport and Year Levels Captains applications are currently being written and positions will be decided during Term 4.
The calibre of applications for the College Captains this year was outstanding. The students’ written applications, interviews and speeches to staff showed their commitment to student leadership and they want to be involved as their peers voices.
I would like to congratulate the following students on being elected for the 2019 College Captain Positions: Aduer Josephine Yuel and Sara Jmel
They will be presented to the College during the Year 12 Assembly held on Friday 26 October 2018.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank the students for applying and to the leaders currently leading our College. We are very lucky to be blessed with so many students with such refined leadership qualities.
